Lydia & Robin Wedding Photos – Blue Print Cafe, London

It’s always an honour to photograph a wedding and to be part of such an important day but even more so when it’s one of your wife’s best friends who is getting married. The brief from Lydia & Robin was to capture the relaxed and informal nature of their day and as a guest it was fun to document my perspective through the photos I took.

One of the benefits of being their photographer was that I got to experience more of the day than most guests. This included hanging out with the girls in the morning and meeting Robin at the pub for lunch before heading to Chelsea Register Office for the civil ceremony. After the celebrity-style group photo on the steps of the registry office we headed down to the Thames to the boat which would take us to the Blue Print Cafe. It was a short but eventful walk with a brief encounter with a parrot along the way – random!

Lydia & Robin, I hope you enjoy the photos. It was a great privilege to be part of your day and I can’t wait for the next ‘tower of cheese’!

Below are some of my favourites from the day. Friends and family can view all the images on our gallery which is at www.randallweddings.co.uk/store. Please ask Lydia or Robin for the password or get in contact with us at the studio.

July 15, 2009 - 1:50 am Jude - LOVE the shot of them all walking between the cars, what a great capture. A great selection as always Stew, it's almost like being there!

July 14, 2009 - 7:45 pm Jo - Love the little dude on the steps, my fav by far!!

July 14, 2009 - 9:41 am Laura Silcock - Absolutely brilliant!!!! You did such a fantastic job of capturing the day. So many favourites. Love the fourth one down of Lyds and the last couple of them playing. The one of all the family brought a lump to my throat and the one of me by the ironing board cracked me up. Top work Mr R!
