Whilst Julie and Rob were shooting Abi and Ray’s wedding, Mike and I were several hundred miles away in Ireland preparing for Mairead and Adam’s wedding – here are some postcards from an earlier post.
Mairead & Adam had carefully selected the Mount Falcon Hotel for it’s amazing food and fantastic woodland setting, situated just outside Ballina in County Mayo West Ireland. The hotel itself has been completely renovated in recent years and finished to an incredibly high standard. It really is a luxurious venue for a wedding.
Of course being on the west coast of Ireland means the weather can be a little temperamental. For the most part of the day we were blessed with fine weather except for an incredible down pour as the guests made their way to church – check out the image below which I managed to grab from the comfort of a hotel room :-)
Following the ceremony we headed down to Lough Conn for some dramatic landscape images followed by some more contemporary photos near the local football ground. Mairead said it was a little like ‘Kabul’ which cracked me up :)) but I love the blue sky against the grey concrete.
The entire day was incredible. Relaxed. Emotional. Exciting. It really was a pleasure to photograph Mairead and Adam’s wedding and thank you both for allowing me to be part of your day.
Below are some of my favourites from the day and at the bottom of the post is a slideshow with more of the images. Friends and family can view all the images on our gallery which is at www.randallweddings.co.uk/store. Please ask Mairead or Adam for the password or get in contact with us at the studio.
Please feel free to leave a comment.
Thank you to my second shooter Mike Hetherington who was fantastic as per usual.
