There is something about a military wedding that adds an element of class and tradition to the proceedings of the day. I’m not a uniform person myself ;-) but seeing the guard of honour dressed in all their splendour you couldn’t help but be impressed. Stephen is with the Royal Dragoon Guards and dressed in green and navy blue looked very smart. I’m sure when serving our country he is incredibly courageous and confident, but hopefully he won’t mind me saying that on his wedding day his nerves were showing especially as his guard of honour took great enjoyment teasing him about Helen’s late arrival. There was no need to worry however as it was simply a delay due to traffic and when Helen arrived she was greeted by a huge crowd that had gathered to see the men in their uniforms and the arrival of the bride. It brought Knutsford high street to a standstill!
This was the second time in as many months that we had the privilege of photographing a wedding at The Belle Epoque in Knutsford. It’s a stunning venue with a very romantic feel and amazing food and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue with a difference.
Below are some of my favourites from the day.
