Last month Stewart and I had the great pleasure of photographing Tsega and Yemi’s wedding at the Penha Longa Spa & Golf Resort in Sintra, Portugal.
Tsega saw our work as a result of a pre-wedding shoot we did earlier in the year with her brother Begna, so you can imagine our delight when Tsega contacted us and asked us to photograph her wedding too. Tsega and Yemi are a truly wonderful couple and their friends and family just blew us away with their warmth and willingness to be photographed… really, we’d never been to a wedding where so many people were almost queuing up to have their photo taken!
The wedding itself was jam-packed with great moments, from the gospel choir during the service, the wonderful traditional African dress, the Ethiopian dancers, the warm speeches and the partying until the small hours of the morning. We enjoyed every moment.
