Louise & Adam Pre-Wedding Photos – Rossendale

It was great to hook up with Louise and Adam who are getting married at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire this month. I’m seriously looking forward to their wedding, from the brief I already know it going to be an amazing day with some cool surprises which you’ll have to wait for :-) I’m sworn to secrecy.

All these images were captured in Louise and Adam’s garden and it goes to show what can be created with a simple yet lush backdrop. I just love the intensity of the greens.

For the photography geeks the individual portraits were shot at f/1.2 on the 50mm. I’ve be playing around with shooting at f/1.2 much more recently and although critical focusing is key to successful images, the results are sublime.

August 11, 2010 - 5:31 pm Laura Silcock - Lovely pics and like the way you've used the backdrop. Looking forward to seeing the surprises from the wedding!

August 10, 2010 - 7:27 pm Jo - Wow they look great - the 1.2 is always a winner in my book!

August 9, 2010 - 3:11 pm Jennifer - Beautiful images and what a fab setting.

August 8, 2010 - 7:56 pm Adam - Lovely photos of a lovely looking couple Stewart. Brilliant.
