With the ceremony at Leeds Town Hall followed by an amazing meal at Malmaison, Andrea and Russell’s wedding was a relaxed and intimate day shared with their closest friends and family. The backdrop of the city and Malmaison allowed for some fantastic fashion styled images, which I love, and we were able to spend time getting to know and photographing each guest.
It was a real honour to photograph Andrea and Russell’s wedding and we wish you all the happiness for the future.

Ruth and John’s wedding was a photographers dream; fantastic couple, wonderful family and perfect locations. Throughout the day everyone just seemed to laugh and have fun allowing us to grab the documentary images that we love to capture as well as beautiful portraits. When people ask how we would describe our style, this would be a perfect example.
Here are a few of our favourite images. Apologies for the large download, we had trouble selecting the short list. Oh, and note to all DJ’s, get fantastic lights like the ones in the images below!

These two little girls are just gorgeous but definitely have a mischievous streak. According to their mum they were both full of smiles before I arrived but then decided to go all shy. Fortunately the hours of practice with Harriet paid off as I managed to tease some beautiful smiles from them.

Helen & Carl’s wedding at Bagden Hall in West Yorkshire was an incredibly relaxed day shared with family and close friends. It was clear that a lot of time had gone in to the preparation with lots of little details throughout the day. I was especially interested in the cars which included a gorgeous Mercedes, a classic Beauford and a yellow New York taxi - very cool!
Helen and Carl’s little boy also played an important part in the day and along with all the paige boys looked fantastic in his brown suit, trainers and angel wing printed t-shirt!
It was a pleasure for Julie and I to photography Helen and Carl’s wedding. Congratulations to you both.

For Vicky and Andrew’s engagement shoot we headed into Leeds for an urban portrait session. I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. We started in a quiet area of town by Malmaison which allowed us to kick things off without too many distractions. Let’s face it not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, let alone when Leeds shoppers are walking by wondering what’s going on! This is why we include a pre-wedding shoot in all of our wedding services. Not to embarrass you in front of passers by, but to give you confidence in front of the camera so you’re left looking forward to the photography on your wedding day.
After a short while we headed into the hustle and bustle of the main high streets followed by several great locations along the canal.
We took some fantastic photos on what was a blistering hot day. We’re looking forward to the wedding later this year which will be held at Holme Pierrepont Hotel, Nottinghamshire.
