Jenny & Andrew Wedding – Claridges Hotel, London

I was back at Claridges in February for a really wonderful wedding for Jenny & Andrew. They invited 20 of their closest friends and family to share what was a beautifully intimate ceremony followed by a meal in a private room in Gordon Ramsay’s – and yes, it looked as good as it sounds!

Everything about the day was conducted with style and elegance. The staff at Claridges were incredibly professional and although shooting there can be challenging at the best of times, it all came together to produce some stunning images.

A sneak peek from Jenny & Andrew’s wedding taken at Claridges last weekend. Both of these images were taken with available light, the second had a little extra help from a PAG light.

Marta & Tomek Wedding, Claridges, London

I always knew that Marta and Tomek’s wedding was going to be a lot of fun but I couldn’t predict that we were going to get such amazing weather at the end of September.

We started the day in Marta’s Claridges suite and while the fantastic Eva and Nicola set to work with makeup and hair, we captured details and documentary images. Marta was incredibly relaxed and seemed quite happy enjoying the pampering while sipping a cup of tea.

It was great to be back in my home town and shooting a wedding in the heart of London. As you would expect Claridges is a fantastic venue and while Julie and I were with Marta, Mike (our third shooter on the day) was at the Little Brompton Oratory photographing the boys and guests.

The most stressful part of the day was getting through London while trying to navigate all the blocked roads due to a protest march. Fortunately our cabbie had the knowledge and the wedding car, which was a beautiful Mark V Jag (I think), stuck to us like glue through the busy traffic. Very impressive driving.

The whole day was absolutely fantastic and below are just a small selection of my favourites. Friends and family can view all of the images on the gallery – details below.
